With the possible inclusion of a twelfth game next year, does anyone think the Big 12 should make NU v. OU a yearly rivalry again?

Did anyone catch Unsportmanlike Conduct yesterday? They had Barry Switzer on as a guest and I gotta admit I have respect for the guy. The question was posed about what rivalry means more to him OU v. UT or NU v. OU and he picked NU v. OU because he said it means more to the coaches and players...

I think that's a little premature, isn't it. We haven't even started the Big 12 season yet and he gets a nod for a top 5 defensive coach? I don't mean to sound pessimistic but let's see what our D can do against GOOD teams.

I was talking to one of my buddies last night and he informed me Trev Alberts was fired from the ESPN in studio Game Day show. I heard he missed a production meeting and was canned but I never saw any articles regarding his termination. Did anyone hear about this?

According to several articles yesterday, Alex Gordon missed the first Monday class @ NU and is expected to meet w/ K.C. management next week. Should be a good sign for Royals fans.
