Still a current Husker at this point, but her pro career is imminent.  Pretty awesome all around, Atlanta was one of the better teams last year and traded up to take her #1 overall. Also gets to play for former Husker Kayla Banwarth, and only a couple hours from her hometown.

Did this last year, and it's interesting to me at least. I'm a fan of college football as a whole, so there are players on other teams I'm excited to see - although I obviously hope they don't perform well. But seeing relatively unknown guys like Daunte Culpepper have a bit of a coming out...

I know yards aren't everything, but we've put up the most yards against them both of the last 2 years.  At some point we've got to turn it into points/wins, but I'd say this shows something. 8.4 yards per play is absurd against a top defense.

Last year broke you, huh? Obviously they have to play well, but would all of you downers have the same "don't care" attitude if this was a poorly ranked class? Or would that be cause for concern?

I do think overall he's been fine, and he should continue to get better. But this jumps to my mind every time I hear his name at the moment.

For sure, and I'm curious how it would've gone if we were at full health. But I'm still baffled at things like this - I'm surprised they didn't run out of this more, we're just not equipped to stop any runs to the TE side here.
