    It's been Groundhog Day since 2017.  There's nothing unique about this season.

    I vividly remember the Bo Pelini years after an embarrassing lost, and Husker fans so upset they started saying they lost all hope, and it's on to "apathy". 

    Fans literally done with him, the beatdowns, the losses, the "us against the world" mentality Bo had, and of course the AD who got a share of the blame as well.

    I was okay with Bo getting terminated, because he reached his max ceiling.  Especially with the lame schedule he had to deal with year in and out.  I didn't like some of his methods and other stuff, but overall, I thought he was a good person.  Also felt he was trending to 7 wins or 6 wins as the rest of the college football scope was getting better and better. And his talent was running out (Rex, Tmart, Helu, Suh, Alex Henery, the whole secondary, etc, etc..)

    Bottom line is that nothing has changed since then.  Although the attire has. But the fans are even more impatient and crazier now than ever.  Which is incredible.

    This is a rebuild. Let's hold off on judging the coach too much until after year 2 or 3.

    There is no big ten west starting next year… Harsh reality is unless we drastically improve the roster with new talent, we will stay irrelevant. No way we hang with Ohio State, Michigan, USC, Penn State and maybe even Oregon with the classes and transfers we’re getting right now

    As for waiting 2-3 years to judge because this is a “rebuild” - you think SEC schools have that mindset? Sounds like a copy paste from the Frost years to me

    Deion wasn’t even contacted by Trev out of 13/14 people. There was no interest. There is a reason why he didn’t get offered an SEC job. He still needs to prove himself.

    That’s because his choices were s#!ttier programs than ours. So much for that Auburn or SEC gig. Hopefully, for his sake, CU can scrape together the funds they agreed to pay him.

    Not just most successful.  No other coaches best season over that time has been better than Bo’s worst season.

    Much of the blame for our failures over the last 20 years can be laid at the feet of our athletic directors. Their inability to seek council for coaching hires, to see that college football was entering a new era and/or making hires based on feelings rather than logic would lead us down a path for abject failure.

    Yessir. Huskers need to show some life early Saturday cuz the Avs start 1 hour later. Glad those are both early games cuz I snagged a couple tix to the Colorado Eagles Saturday night.
