I wouldn't have minded Syracuse. I can care less about mizzou. This sucks for traveling though. I'm going to try to get to all the B1G stadiums and now it costs a whole lot more

What does Missouri bring that Maryland doesn't? Let's not pretend that Missouri is some football powerhouse, or is driving eyeballs to TV sets.

What knappster said. Maryland and Rutgers are fine. Ideally, we all want ND and one more school. I could still see the B1G adding ND....

St Louis and KC for one. They've been much better than MD in football and basketball for the past decade or so. They're actually midwestern...and the list goes on and on.

Basketball doesn't steer the ship, though. If it did, Kansas would have gotten into the B1G before Nebraska. And St Louis and KC pale in comparison to the super-sized urban sprawl that is DC-to-Boston. WAAAAAAY more eyeballs there, even if most of them don't care about college athletics.

Yep like you said. Most don't care about collegiate athletics and if they do, its not the Terps. Same situation with Rutgers. This move, by itself, is awful.

Can we please add ND/Oklahoma... That would keep the Big Ten historic in some nature. Adding just to add will turn us in to an unbalanced conference.

You don't get Oklahoma without Oklahoma State lol, which is fine to me, because they have proved that they aren't a pushover team anymore. Now that we have Maryland, I expect Rutgers to accept, and if they don't, who are we going to get to make it even? I know the B1G isn't going to go into the year without a CCG.

There's no way RU doesn't accept unless they plan on sliding in MD's now vacant slot.

Bucky, that's entirely possible. Who knows how the ACC will react, especially since it's painfully obvious what Delaney is trying to do.
