I don't think its a coincidence that they just started promoting this 4 days after our Spring Game. Still, I commend them.

It's very commendable. I think it's great-with an asterisk. Is there anything wrong with asking the honest question-If Jack doesnt play last Saturday, does Rutgers do this? I'm sayin no. What you all think.

@beanman Yes, its a great idea and good for the players. But with the recent reports of their coach one cant help but wonder if they are doing this to rebuild their reputation.

I'm sure there's all the good intentions in the world, but there's nothing wrong with being honest in saying it's a copy-cat.

I have no problem with them following our example. The only thing that sticks out to me is that they felt the need to announce it in the press where the Huskers just did it and let the action speak for itself.

I'm glad it's an over the top copy so when it doesn't go over so well then it should dissuade other attempts.

this sounds more like how they let kids play a hockey game in between period breaks. just a fun exhibition. and this is good for NU. because do you think this will happen without NU being mentioned? plus, NU's was such a powerful moment. this will just be an adorable display of children playing football.
