Like we were saying, full strength means nothing if our strength is mentally unfocused and prone to psychological peaks and valleys.

But let's not forget what the seemed to be the common opinion on this board: MSU's DL was going to shread our make shift OL all game. That didn't happen today in the slightest. It is really frustraiting to watch a winnable game slip through our fingers like that, but there were positives and the OL in my opinion was a pleasant surprise.

We gave Ohio State the blueprint to totally dismantle Michigan State. CCG might be ugly again.

Minnesota might give Michigan State their next loss.

Since MSU has clinched the division. I could see them tanking that game.

I think Minnesota may be stronger on both sides of the LOS than Michigan State. And I'm pretty certain Minnesota will pound Michigan State with the running game.

Sometimes the rationalization after these games is surreal. Not a comment on EZ-E's post, which is pretty accurate. It's a wood for the trees thing. I'm not reassured that we play shitter teams for the rest of the season. It's unacceptable that we're not even in contention for our division.

Im more concerned with the vehement arguing that this is ok, and that 09 was the high water mark. That is very troubling for this program.

Most of the 2009 references are specific to what Pelini can do with talent on the defensive side of the ball. Troubling is going to be if we can't find a quarterback who takes care of the football.

If only Bo had some sort of authority on such a thing.
