Players having their coaches back is a given, not a plus.

Someone needs to get it through these players heads that they play for frickin Nebraska and NOT Bo Pelini. I'm tire of mine, and hte 95% of Husker fans, unwaivering and classy support being shoved aside for some manufactured "us vs. the world and our fans" bullsh#t wall being built around this team. Just embrace us Bo. Even with all your bullsh#t, half of us are still in your corner. Even I was, till today. Quit shoving us away. We both want the same thing damn it.

Did the players have Callahan's back?

If it is truly as bad as some are thinking it is, there would be unrest in the locker room. I want a legit name of a current coach who would want to come here after two coaches getting canned for winning 9 games a year. Get rid of Bo, enjoy having tool box that is number 4-5 on the list again like Clownahan was!

Being a players' coach is a positive attribute but is not tied to the ultimate measuring stick of success, which is wins and conference championships. If Bo was greatly beloved by his players but had won 4 games this season, would that matter?

Nebraska could obviously get any coach they want. I heard it on Huskerboard, it's true.

More bullsh#t excuses. If the players want to have Bo's back, how about they do it on the field instead of in press conferences and on twitter?

Bo is gone anyway. Not sure why this is being discussed.

Do I wish we could get over hump? Of course. My fear is getting rid of Bo will set the Huskers back further than the firing of Solich. If that is not in your thought process it better be. I am guessing it is difficult to be super excited about this fan base when after each loss the lunatics go after the players. I know this happens but when that is happening on top of the rough year it snowballs.
