I didn't say it was garbage. Just saying that I don't understand how everyone is acting like recruiting has made this huge improvement, when in actuality the class is ranked lower than Pelini's past classes.
Recruiting is what will save us. IMO, we have a VERY underrated class. FFS we landed six 4* players, and Harrison isn't even one of them. For some reason he is rated a 3*. The thing about ranking these players, its all done off personal opinion. Nothing factual goes into rating them. It would be awesome to see how many of these 4-5* kids become busts, and how many 3 and lower become diamonds.
Regardless of rankings, we picked up some very good prospects in this class. Some of these kids should be ranked much higher than they currently are. This class might actually be better, talent wise.
Based upon their ranking system, how many of those kids get outbeaten, become busts and/or make it to the NFL. More 4-5* kids than 3 and lower? Like I said, this class is extremely underrated. Besides, I don't believe a lick of that. Rivals had a guy who hadn't committed (4*). He committed to Alabama and become a 5* a week later. Decided to leave and commit to LSU, remarkably became a 4*, decided he wanted to go back to Alabama and become a 5* again.
I read this at the beginning of the season on tigerdroppings.com and secrant.com. I don't care to look for it either as there is no point in this. I believe we have an underrated class, and the talent we have is VERY good.
MSU hasnt had a class rated higher than maybe 30th in the last 4 years. Just won a B1G title and a Rose Bowl. Stars are a joke. 3 stars in the Midwest means 5 in the Soitheast.
