I'm impressed by the effort and their success. You can't hold it against guys for fighting for more rights. Though I don't think it's deserved, in this case.

You guys know damn well this is about so much more than what their front actually is. It's about the money plain and simple. In the long run, what theyre really promoting will be the least of their demands. They want a piece of that big money pie that is college athletics. Pure and simple.

this is just the beginning of the end of college athletics. it's been sliding this way for years now, this accelerated it exponentially.

it is just funny that everyone is looking for a handout and then when the actual people making the product do, it is an abomination of all that is right. and i think college athletes will survive this. what is more worrisome is the concussion issue, to me at least.
