Simply because he appears to be the better passer. Scared of Armstrong passing in what could possibly be snow, if we're going run heavy we should have the better passer in there so we still actually have that option. And you shut up you richy Richard.

Tommy is clearly the better QB. Ryker has no real experience and would be a liability in any game we are trying to win. I have a feeling that some of Tommy's poor passing game is due to the route combos we use more than his mistakes. I swear to god Beck doesn't know what slants and drag routes are.

See I could rag on beck all day long but regardless of qb coaching armstrongs short to intermediate passing is awful. Fyfe has looked better passing the ball in every outing. Don't give me the "backup qb is always the favorite player on the team bs." It's simple, Armstrong, while an excellent runner is a below average passer. Certainly we have an at least average passer on the team.

Also dont see tommy as "clearly" the better qb.
