At least Pelini got 7 years to prove his worthlessness. Riley isn't even being afforded 1 week by some people. Can we just see how it goes BEFORE complaining about it? So tired of it.

Can't have a little bit of concern with the staff selection? I think it's valid. Wanted to see some new blood in a couple of those spots, not connected with the new HC or the past staff.

JJ, I think we were just expecting the check book to be opened like they said and bring in these "splash" hires. The whole "loyalty" thing has some fans uneasy with these hires. Hope they come out and shock the world in the next few seasons. But there is a good reason to be concerned.

Methodical is talking about firing Chancellors and regents over a football coach that hasn't even coached yet. This is completely asinine (and apparently he doesn't understand how regents work)

Or, are we going to relive some people's reaction to the Riley hiring news for each and every position coach, trainer, and waterboy? LET EM PLAY A FRIKKEN GAME FIRST.

I will. If that's who he hires, well, he's got my support for now. Just want to see if we can bring in a good recruiter. A real good name to help pump things up.

We've got to have some faith in the new guys judgement. We really have no choice. Just because Bo suck at building a staff, and honestly, most everything else, doesn't mean we have to let that jade our perception of Riley. I say let him surround himself with who he is comfortable with and then give it a chance. There will be plenty of time to burn it to the ground if it doesn't work out. I am just SO tI red of the negativity and 2nd guessing. Let him do his job.
