The best advice I could give you would be to start small and go slow. Allow your body time to adjust. You will want to run 5 days a week. I started running a mile a day at a 15 minute pace and lowered it by 5 seconds a day initially. I built up from there. For you, if you could start out getting in 3 miles 2-3 times a week and then do a 5 and 6 mile run in your first week, that would be doing well.
