I predicted it would be a tough year for Denver a long time ago. Long before anyone else was really talking about it. I'm surprised as hell KC was able to find a way to lose that game. It's hilarious really.

Of course, if KC calls plays like that in the red zone all season long, I don't like their chances either. Looked like they got Beck'd! Got way too cute.

chiefs are what they are. It'll never change. I'm a fan. I know this. But in regards to Manning, it's really remarkable how much his age is starting to take over. Watching that game like I watch games, it's just mesmerizing watchin Manning miss on so many throws. Couple plays before the game tying td to Sanders, he had him open on exactly the same route and threw the ball low and behind. not even close.

It's more amazing/mesmerizing that he's still able to play at a high level at all. He's been in the league for ages.

Like I said before, he's just not at top 10 QB anymore. Putting him in the top half might be generous at this point.

You're kidding yourself Dude. He obviously can't make ALL the throws but he makes a lot of them. What he has upstairs, his knowledge and his leadership in itself is invaluable, but don't get carried away with dogging in the guy physically. He's less than he was, and what he was is maybe the greatest ever. Him falling off a bit doesn't mean he's not top 10 anymore. Get real.

Baltimore and Kansas City play good defense. Manning will have better days against lesser teams. To open a season with a game against a Ravens defense, and a game in Arrowhead and come away 2-0 is not something you just piss on. Manning isn't the same guy as he used to be, but hold your horses on just writing him off. It's premature.

It's not all about him, it's the 20 or so NFL QBs playing better than him too.

I took that into account and can literally say....No, just no. Manning's career speaks for itself, and Denver has done very well in the last few years with Manning at the helm, but in just one week of football, with only Denver playing their second game, you've decided 20 or so QB's in the league are playing better than him.

Those other QB's have played one game. Boy, when you rank you top QB's in the league, that must be an ever changing list if you're ranking them game by game. Especially just the first game of the season. New coaches, new system, and almost an entirely new offensive line (and not a very good one) and Manning is still EASILY a top 10 QB in the league. Just stop man. Have more respect for yourself than this.
