Not sure if offense is the problem. #9 in scoring offense and #10 in total offense. I understand their pace of play helps. Have to wonder why Oregon wasn't able to have a decent choice at QB though.
LOL, I'm positive we would've made room for Frost on the staff... I'm going out on a limb to say he didn't want to leave for any position other than a HC job. It's not like we had the option to hire him as TE's Coach.
Zoogs...it just comes down to a year where qb play isn't great. I think they have the guys coming up but they are really young. The defense is bad, and I didn't like Pellum in the first place. His defense is super basic, easy to shred. Especially without pressure on qbs
Oregon's defense has never been good. Are the fans just now realizing this? The offense makes Oregon hum, and it's having a down year due to the QB position. Losing Vernon Adams really hurt.
Oregon's defense is actually pretty decent. They give up a lot of yards and some of that turns to points but they have led the nation or been close to leading the nation in takeaways for 5-6 years now. Under Pellum they are just 100 times worse than when Aliotti was there.
