Someone I know had a class with Taylor Martinez - Spanish 101. Said the kid had no clue and routinely asked to borrow other's homework.

Their football players. The ones that start usally aren't very bright. Smartest one I ever meet was Latravis Washington, and he barely sniffed the feild.Typically the linemen are a little brighter though.

Do we really need to spread rumors about player's academics though. Seriously what is the purpose of this post?

Yeah, especially when it's *our* football players, not theirs. Ha!

Effort. Keep in mind bright minds will do nothing if there is no effort. Not saying this is the case, but just pointing it out.

I have a Ph.D. Almost didn't get into undergrad. Grades only tell part of the story.

Maybe thats the problem. Say what you want but football is a thinkin mans game now. Not just Xs and Osbut its very calculating game of strategy and controlled aggression. If all your starters are not "smart" well, youre not gonna be a very good football team.

On the end, grades in class and on tests are probably not reflective of a players football intelligence. But our quarterback struggling with a class called football theory is definitely not something to brush aside.
