Verizon is a joke. I recently got on my own plan. Started out with 6gb, notice I was going over by a gig so I upped to 12. Same notice so I ended up going to 18gb. Now I pay $165 a month for one damn line.

That's crazy. How do you use so much data?

They worked my dad over when my gpa passed away and before that charged an extra $30/month per phone for "data" usage on two flip phones that don't use data. He just switched to AT&T and now they started offering him big incentives to return but way too late.

No clue how I go through so much data in a month.

On most phones I think you can tell which apps are consuming the data (perhaps even if it's foreground/background). Perhaps a lot of youtube?

I almost go over on my data ever month.. bumped it from 10GB to 12GB and got the "75%" notice two days ago and have till the 10th...

Huh. I'm at 2 this month and I feel that was a big accident. I suspect Win7 was installing updates while I was tethering, since it can't tell the difference.

How do you guys use so much data?

Yeah, WTF how do you use 10+GB? I use mine all I want and rarely hit 2-3GB. My son uses his all that is humanly possible and he may hit 4 or 5 in a month.

See my wife use 2 to 3 gb and she is on her phone as much as me. Think Im getting screwed.

Wifi is your friend fellas. Youtube is not...
