Yeah both those guys need some time away from the sport to figure their crap out. Let the university handle it first and if it's not enough, the NCAA should make a call

USC guy gets 1st half suspension. LSU guy gets 1 game.

That is too little. The LSU hiy (I didn't see USC) should be 2 game minimum. Can the NCAA even suspend for on field action? It seems like that's always left up to the conference.

I know most here disagree but I thought Eric Martin deserved the suspension he got. But if he get 1 game suspension the LSU guy should have at LEAST 2 games probably more. Didn't see the USC thing.

The LSU hit is why the rule was created. It's just enforced so horribly that casual fans seem to think any incidental helmets too helmet contact is targeting.

If a targeting penalty is a game suspension, those two knuckleheads deserve at least a game if not more.

The Dude -- the LSU hit was a cheap shot way after the whistle. It had nothing to do with targeting.
