I do not think he is personally invested in devaluing Tommy as a player or anything. Rather, he is being lazy in his summary of Tommy by exaggerating to justify his conclusion.

But it takes into account more than near interceptions.

If that's all you're focusing on, it's pretty obvious you're not interested in facts, but pushing a skewed narrative.

I'm bored with this conversation, The Dude. If you want to talk about "what-ifs", by all means. I think it is lazy, and for anyone who has ever competed, you know something like an "adjust interception" does not win you games.
