It's outta control. My premium for family coverage of 4 is going from 1450ish to about $1880...per month. That's around $22k for the year just for frikken health insurance.
Wife is having a fairly routine/simple surgery tomorrow. I thought the full bill would be about $25k, nope, $52,000...if she doesn't stay overnight, which she might need to.
It's not the health insurance providers that need their hands tied, they actually, that's why they're disappearing. It's law suits and drug companies is and the ridiculous amounts providers are allowed to charge.
It is the ACA's fault that premiums are skyrocketing. They have been forced to cover sickles and people who couldn't get insurance before. Of course they have to charge more to recover the ungodly claims they are having to pay. The system is beyond broke.
And no I'm not drunk...the auto correct on my phone sometimes just doesn't like what I'm really try to say. It adds and subtracts words, changes perfectly spelled words to something different. Kinda fed up with it guise.
Not Obama's fault they keep ramping up costs, bullsh#t. He could have done things right. He could have imposed regulations on the insurance and pharmaceutical industry. That would have made health care more affordable.
I will agree that Obamacare accelerate the problem though. But it's pretty disengenius to blame the people who tried to do something more than the useless f#cks that have done nothing at all.
