Crap. Beck at OSU gave us a fighting chance.

People on this board always hate their coordinators. Beck was decent with the Huskers. (3,2,1, BOOM! HB explosion of disagreement)

He is only part of the problem since it is reported that Ed Warinner called most of the plays this season. I have to assume that OSU will move on some of the other offensive coaches as well. Beck did do a nice job recruiting in Texas. Wait, is losing by 59 points a fighting chance?

I thought Beck did an "ok" job at times with what he had to work with, but the numbers at OSU have dropped considerably enough that the National analyst are talking about things haven't been the same since Herman left.

To be fair, part of that is losing most of the starters to the draft last year. I have to assume OSU would have been better off with guys like Elliot and Thomas coming back for one more year. They sure didn't have a problem transitioning to the NFL.

I think Beck is a pretty decent OC. I miss his offense actually, I enjoyed his creativity in the run game. However, a QB coach he is not. Honestly that's the one thing he seems to be the worst at is QB development. Which is a huge thing!

JT Barrett hasn't progressed much under Beck. I don't know if Barrett hit his ceiling or if it is the coaching.

At least Beck has more run plays than inside and outside zone. And if it gets really rough we might pull off a jet sweep

Agree with ZRod. Beck the OC is ok. Beck to QB coach is turrible.

I don't think he hit a Ceiling, I really think it was coaching. I didn't follow tOSU closely, but what I did see was a bad O line and JT trying to do it all. Long balls with low percentages that don't help your QB get his rythme.

I don't think he threw many long balls this year compared to past years. Especially when compared to his RS-F season.
