He probably doesn't have NU's or the NCAA's permission to use Bookie's likeness. Bookie can't use his likeness to sell items.

Is there someone selling them or did someone just make one and give it to his mom?

The guy that made the first one just proclaimed on twitter that he just got permission to sell them.

He claims he "got permission" to sell these.

Found this in an article about Denard Robinson;

Producing and selling goods that feature the names, pictures or likenesses of student-athletes is a violation of NCAA regulations.

Specifically, NCAA regulations stipulate that “items that include an individual student-athlete’s name, picture or likeness, other than information items, may not be sold.”

“You’re not allowed to produce apparel with a student-athlete’s name or any of his lik...

...likenesses,” Ablauf explained. “A written notice (was sent) to all licensees who were producing apparel of any student-athlete.”

“Anytime we see apparel out in the market that involves a student-athlete…we would send a cease and desist letter to them,” he said.

Better get one fast. Me thinks they will be extremely rare very soon.

I don't know who he's checking with but he's not going to like the answer.
