SHHHHHH!!!!

I'm getting used to it very quickly which sort of goes against my stodgy old guy ways. I really like a lot of it and have only run into a few things, like no post #'s. I'm sure it will all seem normal in a week or so.

There was no way around this. Once version 3 support ended a few months ago it was inevitable that we had to upgrade to version 4 at some point.

Rep started with the last board upgrade in like 2010.  So this place has been operating under an old forum software for seven years. 

It's different, and it's not as comfortable as our old home, but we can make this into something good if we give it time. It'll be OK.

I'm serious. I am a software developer. I would love to hear what software/platform we use that forced an upgrade. Does AR do a lot of it?

Don't they all force upgrades? I just had to upgrade my website because the version was no longer supported and my host updated their servers and they wouldn't accept the old version. Seems like standard fare for everything computer related.

@El Diaco it depends on what you're using. I was under the impression we wrote parts of the site ourselves, in which case we'd be pretty free to do what we wanted.
