They're just butt hurt that Nebraska got the single hottest coaching commodity in the country (something they'd never be able to do even if it was their former player).
I'll admit, I cringed when Moos said that out loud. I don't think he meant to take anything away from UCF, he was just explaining why he would be happy to let Frost coach there. I was just surprised to hear him come out and say it like that. Not really a big deal though. Like Knapp said, if people are gonna be mad, their gonna be mad.
Yeah, Moos didn't say that with the most delicate of touches. It wasn't an ideal way to say it and I can see why it sticks out. One of those things you should maybe just let the media observe. He should have been more diplomatic. Whatever UCF may feel about those comments, I'm sure they harbor zero ill will towards Frost, though. And it will be a 3-hour commercial. Hopefully a good one.
I mean the UCF administration. Of course the fans are mad. Frost did great things there is taking everything he built with him. They're back at square one. Ugly side of fandom, but I'm sure there are plenty of other fans there who are nothing but appreciative.
