It is your turn congress. Now, I wonder how many people out there actually understand what net neutrality is at its core, congress included. It would be great if we could design modern rules for our communication infrastructure and not use the archaic ones currently in place.

So much for our representatives actually representing their constituents.

So frustrating. You begin to feel helpless as a citizen. You rarely see such a large portion of the population voice their displeasure regarding a bill, law, etc. But in this case, you do. Yet these representatives could not care less. Their job is to be the voice of the people and they're not doing it. And it seems our only recourse is to vote them out in the next election cycle, while they continue to screw us over in the meantime. Then we try to replace them with someone who says they will do what the people want, but then they get into office and start accepting "donations" and suddenly begin to vote based on the interest of the donor. The system is broken.

The panel of 5 commisioners is actually appointed by the Pres, for 5 year terms.  Right now there are 3 R's and 2 D's.  So the voice of the people thing is really the Presidential election, and I don't have to get into why this group has done what they've done.  I'll just let you know that the ones our current Pres put in place have pretty impressive history's working for big communications/tech corporations.

NN needed to die... not a great idea to have Feds in charge of it.
