Agree 100%  If put with "Nebraska" it should always be the Cornhuskers.

I'm looking at a new signee's pic and thinking, "well obviously that hat was made overseas, or in Iowa, we'd never approve that."

Unfortunately, the athletic department has signed off on the "Nebraska Huskers" use.  Most of the stuff produced by Adidas uses Nebraska Huskers.  I think it might have been driven by Pedeyshine, in an attempt to distance from corn and being associated with farming and agriculture.

When I bought my license plate bracket I had this debate with myself and came to the same conclusion. Unfortunately most of the stuff out there says "Nebraska Huskers" which sounds dumb.

That's why I've moved my plate holder for my car for years, I refuse to accept Huskers.  Out here I don't want the folks misunderstanding - that's why we've got new recruits putting the dog pic emojis' in their twitter feeds.  Unaware people don't see the difference between Huskies and Huskers.
