We're UNL, UN-L, NU... basically whatever we feel like calling ourselves. And if NW doesn't like it... they can come take the nickname from us.

Why isn't it UN, like, the University of Nebraska? It makes more sense for them to be NU (Northwestern University). I've never understood why so many Big 8 teams did it backwards (OU, KU, CU, etc.).

I could live with NEB, as well.
