I watched it and thought 5-7.

Nah, I always start a new season with high expectations. But unlike last year it usually takes longer than 2.5 games for reality to set in. Thankfully I don’t think it will be the issue anymore that it has been for the last 15 or so years.

Nope!  I almost always think that at worst they will have 3 losses or so.

I was thinking 9-3....but then again I only saw the 1st quarter because my 1.5 yr old at the time was with us and was done.  That and I sat in the worst spot possible getting up roughly 100 times to let people into the row.

I honestly thought 15-0 not including the Spring Game.

The fact that Diaco wouldn't let the defense run his scheme was alarming. There was never a really good excuse for it, and as it turned out the players just didn't know or couldn't execute the system. 

@teachercd, me too! I always think we're going 9 wins or better by the time the first game rolls around. I think we're going 7-5 this season, but check back with me during game week this fall.

Ha!  I know what you mean...I do it every single season.

@ScottyIce uhh you might wanna see somebody for that if true.

I seem to recall predicting 6-6 before season started and the only reason I didn’t predict worst was not to appear negative.

I didn't necessarily have any preconceived notions after the spring game, but it was some time before the season started that i started watching old Tulane games b/c I didn't know what to expect out of TLee.  While watching, i was just hoping he would have gotten better with different coaching, but he looked exactly the same there, as he did two years later here.  

Really @4skers89??  I remember people planning to dump a bunch of money the overs on our win total.  Even the most pessimistic side of me couldn't envision 6-6, let alone 4-8!
