Mace Windu disagrees.

I looked up the characters who sat on the Council in the first three movies (second three made).  The 12 original members and 2 who replaced those who left or were killed in war.  Of the 14, 9 were non human, 5 were human, 3 were female, 2 were non-white.  Granted the main characters, that were human,  outside of Mace Windu were white.

finn using a light saber in the force awakens suggests that he may also be able to use the force.      

Pointing out that the main message in TLJ was the force is for everyone but the only shown force users in the Sequel Trilogy are white humans and Snoke.  I acknowledge the diversity of force users in the Prequel Trilogy and physically using a lightsaber does not mean you can use the force (Finn in TFA, though I'd love for him to be one).

@commando using a lightsaber has nothing to do with the force. They're just the weapon of choice for most force users.
