This class was the one they were going to be behind on. They will chip away and get one every other month and then once the season rolls around, they will get two to three after a game.
No kidding. "Frustrating" & "apprehensive"....tough crowd.
At this point I will just be overjoyed when we field a team with a plan that looks like they're trying, you know something we've seen little of in the last 20 years. IMO the recruiting has started out better than fine and will only improve from here but it just isn't at the top of my list. Tackle right, some sensible coaching and playing with heart and desire. That'll be enough to keep me happy for awhile.
I see no reason to be worried at all. Given how they did on their first class in the last couple months of the recruiting cycle, and the many statements by Frost about not wanting to get a guy committed early and then have him flip later, it seems like part of the plan to me. He wants the commitment to count.
