Hopefully, this is the first year in almost 15 that no one cares, especially on the team.

But to answer your question, I say no.  The ball will get spread out pretty good between the WR group.

That's was my thought as well, @funhusker, but then i looked at Tre'Quan Smith's stats from last year -- 1,171 yards, even with the other weapons they had.  (But then again, they didn't play the better defenses that we will)

Probably.

Will we have a 1000 yard rusher?  I think we will run the ball well but will we have a feature back.  I say yes and Greg bell is that guy.

If the offense is turned up then yes, but I don't think we're going to see one person that much production with so many unknowns this season. In 2 or 3 season, no doubt we'll have a thousand yard receiver.

I'm going to continue on my Kool-Aid binge and say yes. It may seem tough this season to have a thousand yard rusher or receiver considering how Frost likes to spread the ball around but I think we will get one and maybe both. I think things are going to click and improve at a much faster rate than would appear likely.

My previous post was a little bit "Kool Aidish" but I don't think it would be impossible.  Honestly though our offense would probably be more effective if whomever our QB is doesn't need to look for one or two guys.  Our backs will be catching passes as well so the ball should be spread out a bunch. (A Bunch or a Gebbia or a Martinez.) Again as we have said for awhile.....how much improved will the O line be?

I think you see one WR come out of the non conference portion with over 400 yards...

Is Nebraska the last school to not have 1000 yd receiver?
