    I dont think ole Herm Edwards year 2 is gonna be quite as successful as his first. He inherited some good players that are going to be gone next year. The Honeymoon will soon be over i believe.

    What is the song you hear a lot in stadiums this year. We played it, and you hear it a lot now. It has a lot of base. Some of the words sounds like they say, "Im a baller" but i could be wrong.

    Yeah agree.  He's not slow.  Takes more than speed though.  Apparently got beat pretty badly all game long against WVU.

    @Dilly DillyYou are absolutely correct. That was lazy to say the least and he is now firmly placed on the bench where he belongs.  Frost would have run this kid out of NU about the same time Bell tucked tail and took off.

    Jake Browning has really digressed since being in CFP a couple years ago. His stock was pretty high back then, but watching him over the last 2 years he has gotten worse imo.

    Same with Trace McSorely. Watched a lot of PSU football over the last two years. He was very celebratory as a first year starter, “hitting the homerun” and all, but that has tamed down. Anyway, after PSU lost Godwin, who took the top off the defense that allowed teams to focus on shutting down the run game. They still had Gilecki who was a beast, but Godwin could score on any play, like McSorely and Barkley could. Pretty similar to Browning decline in production over the years

    @Melby For an individual, I’m very intrigued by two TM “what-ifs.” What if he started and played as a true freshman in ‘09 and what if he never got had the high ankle sprain.

    We dont need a great defense, but we need at least a good defense. Cant always count on TOs. And our offense needs to be better in the middle of games. Have to have consistency.

    Wow, what a concept. Rush 4 and get to the QB. Dont see that from us. Then again our OL are either on their heals or over their toes.

    Nebraska Basketball standard offense is to pass the ball around the perimeter and everyone just stand around. What in the hell happened to pass the ball and pick away to try and get others open. It's like its illegal to pick off ball. So sick of the high ball screen, we've never been able to run that. Miles just has no creativity. It's getting hard to watch.

    TT played pretty physical and has really good defense. I don't know about the first 4 teams we played but thinking they weren't near as good. TT was picked 7th in the Big 12 preseason for reference- I thought they looked better than that. We'll know more after we play a couple more better teams but the style and intensity of Nebraska's play seemed the same as usual. Not good if we have to depend on other teams handing us games. BTW, I'm just a casual observer of Nebrasketball. There are many others who could offer much better insight.

    If Miles could ever find an offense that gets guys moving off the ball we would be fine. Its just so much standing around, and against a good defense its not gonna work. If we could even run something similar to the Princeton offense it would make a huge difference.
