I'll never forget how many people wanted him here after Callahan. Wasn't there a rumor that he was a finalist for the job? 

There was talk about it, that is for sure.  I think he would have done a fine job for the most part and probably would have averaged about 8-9 wins a year at NU.  There really is no reason to think he would not have done well at NU.  Great, probably not, but surely 8-9 wins a year.

I'm pretty sure Osborne interviewed Johnson after Callahan was fired, and it came down to Bo, Gill, and Johnson.

Just after Cally? There were people who wanted him instead of Frost. Smh

I will pretty much promise that GT doesn't have that good of a record over the next 11 years. 

Getting away from the option will be an absolute rebuild but with the talent there is in Georgia they will probably end up okay in a few years
