We have the same problem. The bait traps don't do anything, but the spray works. We've been spraying it onto a rag, then swiping where we see them walking. They're gone by the next day.

We've set out apple vinegar traps before and they have worked; we always get ours on our kitchen counters so I haven't used the spray before.

I have a non toxic peppermint based spray that kills on contact but it only seems to work until it evaporates.  I'm curious about the apple vinegar traps. Is this something you make or purchase?

@TonyStalloni I just make them; I'll put a bit of apple vinegar into a container and set it near where the ants are coming in at, and they'll climb right in and drown. I've made them as small as a Gatorade cap, or as large as a disposable tupperware. It'll also work with fruit flies if you put some plastic wrap over the top and poke some holes in it.
