No, It means too much to Nebraska. But lets be honest, Nebraska has done a lot of things to keep it alive when it probably wasnt really a true sellout. Nebraska wont miss a sell out for the next 3 seasons in my opinion. But if Frost doesnt turn it around by then, I could see it going away as fans try and make a point. 

The biggest thing we have going for us is that it's the only show in town. We already reduced the capacity once, so we'll see what happens if things don't turn soon...

Let's remember, a sellout does not equal a packed stadium.

I am shocked it is vs Navy...because ND fans LOVE to tell me how this is such a big game and blah blah blah.

I like how the reason listed in that article is that they have 3 home games this November with no marquee names (Virginia Tech, Navy, Boston College). That would be a helluva home slate in Lincoln. Good thing they aren't in the B1G with strings of Indiana, Illinois, Purdue, Northwestern, Maryland, Rutgers, Minnesota, Iowa, etc.

@Minnesota_husker and what point would that be and what do you think the University should do once that point is made?

I don't understand why they are preemptively declaring that it won't sell out, when the game is still a couple of days away. Are they shutting down the ticket office?

Looks like third was Oregon at 110 but that ended in 2016.. So, unknown? 

Oregon was in #3, a whopping 139 games behind Notre Dame.  But Oregon's steak ended a couple years ago.  Not sure who is #3 now. But it's gotta be way down there.  

That could be. The thing I found was just a post on Answers.com of all places and said Florida was at 137 but it ended on 9/3/2011 when they played FAU
