Their biggest challenge is trying to garner support (fans and donors). Joe Glenn was really good at that years ago. Ed Mac should be pretty good at getting butts in the seats and capturing the attention of recruits but I'm not sure how he'll do with fundraising efforts. Maybe they have more support in that area since they joined the Big Sky conference and it doesn't all fall on the coach now. I haven't been to a UNC game in over 20 years and that was only because Joe Glenn talked me into joining the Blue & Good club which came with tickets. Their games are pretty fun. The drop off in play quality isn't as big as you'd think.
I'm kind of surprised he would take a college coaching job while he has a couple kids also playing college ball. Gonna make it tough for him to make it to many games.
