    @admo  I don’t know a lot of details around the recruitment of Flores. I heard on either 1620 or the OWH podcast this week that Flores camped at NU during the summer between his 9th and 10th grade. He didn’t impress Frost enough to get an offer then, and then Frost slowplayed Flores after that.  So then Frost watched multiple Power 5 schools offer Flores and then Flores led Gretna to the Class A State Championship as a junior (it was later vacated to using an ineligible transfer). Everyone who has seen Flores says he’s the best QB prospect to come through Nebraska in a long time, and Frost and Verduzco didn’t think he was good enough.

    Saw most of the fight.  I would narrowly give to Lopez.  Some of the scores were a bit suspect but good fight mostly.

    Watching the 1993 Orange Bowl on NBCSports and William Floyd loses that ball a whole lot further from the goal line then I recall.  Oh and this is a great refresher on how you used to be able to play defense

    I've long said it's crazy how much the end of the Texas game mirrored the end of this game.  Score to go ahead.  Kickoff out of bounds.  Personal Foul penalty on our defense to help them out.  One second back on the clock.  FG at the end.

    We got a horse collar call against Texas but basically the same thing.

    I had forgotten how messed up the ending to that game was.

    It was a huge heartbreaker back in the day, that is for sure. But I enjoyed watching it again last night. That Charlie Ward commentary tho....woof. Could they have found anyone with less interest and nothing of value to add?

    Yeah that was a tough watch.  He immediately grabbed his arm and was grimacing which means he must've been in excruciating pain.  Was great to see him score a TD earlier in the game.

    Of course he/his corner was looking for an out.  It started in the third round.  Khan is getting five mill for this joke and looking forward to a bout with Kell Brook back home in England to settle who is their greatest failure.

    I’m all for officials letting kids decide a game, but man that kid from UCF had to give the Blue Devil a piggyback ride on that last drive.

    Eh, I'm am nothing even close to a Duke fan and would have loved to laugh at them losing.  But I don't see a foul on Zion there.  There is some contact but no outstretched arm.  The UCF guy tried to sell it but I've got nothing there.

    I was a Duke fan for many years. They lost me when they played Wisconsin for the Natty 4 or 5 years ago. Coach K whined and cried his way the whole game.  I now enjoy seeing Duke go down and would have loved to see them crash and burn yesterday.  Sadly I think the UCF kid was already falling back when Zion got there.
