Maybe add hard candy to the bowl? Like, butterscotch?

Or black licorice... what kid doesn't love that.

Gimme some ideas 

Any house that doesn't hand out some form of chocolate, isn't a house worth stopping at.

That's right, chocolate!  Will pick up some tootsie rolls!

Tootsie Rolls are NOT chocolate.  

Need snickers, Hershies or something similar.

Tootie rolls are chewy chocolate.  Kids love 'em. 

I'll get more chocolate though.  Probably milk duds.

You should mix up your range between godawful candy like candy corn and black licorice and then throw in the occasional full size candy bar like a Snickers or Butterfinger like a total boss.

I don't think you can go wrong with the Twix/Snickers/PB Cup/Butterfinger combo bag thingy they sell.  I tell you tho, I always loved Dots growing up so that would be cool with me.  You could also go off the board and buy carmel apple pops.

Lowkey, we gave out bags of hot cheetos one year and was the most popular house on the block. One of the only ones that didn't get egged, too. 

Oh snap that is a great curveball on the treat front.  I might have to spring for a few boxes of flamin hot Funyuns to giveaway this year.  I freaking love those things.
