This is like having to buy the mom a gift when she gives birth.

This reminds me of an AITA reddit post where for each kid's birthday the kid was supposed to buy their mom a present to celebrate the anniversary of the mom birthing the kid.

My sister in law was mad at my brother for not buying her a gift when they had their first kid.

I'm thinking about buying my wife a straight-jacket when the kids leave the house.

She's going to go insane!

@teachercd Surely he took the opportunity to explain to her that he gave her a gift when the baby was created.

I am not sure what he ended up doing.  But they have 3 kids!

This is like those diamond commercials; "Oh it's your anniversary? You should get your wife a diamond, but since she's your best friend too, you have to get her TWO diamonds!" 

I'd Say maybE get an eXtra Special gift for the tWo of you to use joIntly, Now that you'll have a Greater amount of free time

Hell no I didn’t get my wife a gift when the kids graduated. Why would you? This is a joke, right?
