@teachercd Yea, there are some similarities, but the storytelling with LoU is much tighter. Plus, they *might* get 3 seasons out of LoU, where (like zombies), the Walking Dead will keep shambling on until all the meat is fully off that bone, to the entertainment of no one.

Unrelated - there is a kid in my neighborhood who dresses like Carl in the early seasons of TWD. See him every morning waiting for the bus.

If TWD had ended after say 3-4 seasons, people would treat it like Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, 90210 (okay that one is just for me), it literally reopened the door for the entire genre and became one of the biggest hits ever.
I think in the end, the only people left watching it were actual Zombies and even they were like "This is getting kind of old"
