I don’t have one but have always thought it would be cool to have one. Always loved cooking on a big flat top griddle. Was head hasher for a couple years in my frat and they are great especially for breakfast, eggs, hash browns etc. I imagine it would be nice to get a good sear on a steak as well. Guessing it wouldn’t get used quite as often as a grill though. But man, Philly cheese steaks, fajitas, etc. would be so handy with less cleanup and pans.

See @JJ Husker Cheesesteaks and Cheatsteaks (with. groundbeef), smash burgers, any breakfast foods, Chinese food, so many things and like. you said, basically no real clean up.  the 28 inch blackstone is 220 dollars, which isn't bad at all.

I got one from my wife for Christmas, asked her not to get it since I already have a charcoal grill and a pellet grill/smoker. Felt like I already had too many other modes for cooking. I have used it for fried rice and breakfast, it took a bit to find the right temps for certain things, it is enjoyable and pretty easy to use, plus a lot of different uses.

Jury is still out on whether it was worth it.

I see Mike Schaefer post stuff on Twitter all the time of him using a Blackstone and everything looks awesome.

I don't have a grill anymore, I finally tossed mine after like 6 years of having it, it was a mess...

So that is why I am thinking of the griddle instead.
