I’ve said this before but I truly think what kills this university more than the poor coaching hires is the fact that whether the team wins or loses, fans fill the stadium and praise and hype up this team Every. Single. Year. No repercussions to poor play.

Last year NW fires their coach ten minutes before the season starts because of a sex scandal. Puts an FCS coordinator in charge. 8 wins.

I don't disagree. 

But if Nebraska is a 6-6 team that psychologically gives up almost immediately, they need to make wholesale changes to this program. 

The newsflash to this program is that B1G, with a potential SEC partnership, is that schedules don't get easier. This team is regressing, everybody knows that they have a losing mentality hanging over them, and it doesn't get easier than it is now.

Put up or shut up.  We can't live on past history. If we aren't turning the corner.  This was a flat lay down by the whole team.  Coaching was woeful.  One of the first things Rhule said in the post game presser was that he was surprised by the team.  The HC should never be surprised IMHOP opinion.
