They've also lost 9 straight to NDSU. No shame there, that is against an absolute premier program over that span, but UNI is also not of the same caliber as their two conference juggernauts.

Just focus on this upcoming week. We have plenty to clean up before conference play we need to play our best game so far this upcoming week

Well Northern ILL is a FBS program, with a track record of upsetting power 5/4 teams over the years, and Northern IA is a FCS program so you are making an apples and oranges comparison.The next game's in the bag...We could never get beat by Northern Iowa.

Really want to see an emphasis on the passing game in this one. I think we have a pretty good idea of what is working for us on the ground. We still need to incorporate that on Saturday but it would be nice to open up the passing game a little bit and work on that aspect of the offense. We will need to be dangerous through the air if we want to make some noise in the B1G.

Over the past 20 years against FBS opponents, the UNI Panthers have an average score of 28 (FBS) - 17 (UNI). They have three wins (all against Iowa State). The last win came in 2016. Eight of their losses were within one score (Iowa State four times, Iowa twice, Wisconsin once, and Hawaii once).

How in the heck is Iowa still in Connelly’s top 25?Northern Iowa coming in at #106, #9 in FCS. For comparison UTEP is #175
