Any Australians out there / Huskers displaced there?

Who knows the pain of cricket, cricket, and more cricket on TV? And 3:30 am clock alarms, to tune into latent radio broadcasts?

And futile attempts to watch games on TVU, or Slingbox, or some other online internet TV site that only seems to carry the NBA network?

Interested in hearing all your stories, both successful and of failure, and what you're going to do next week, since CBS games never seem to make it onto Australian cable.

just curious, what are your ties to Nebraska?

I am Lincoln born to two UNL grads.

I'm American. I married an Australian girl and moved here for a few years, because it was easier to get into for me, at that point.

I'm moving to Buff-land in the spring.

I watched it on justin.tv - at least until my monthly download limit kicked in midway through the third quarter, then I was forced to go to the radio feed.

Oddly enough, the game turned in our favor at that point. Maybe it was a good thing.

I'm sorry to hear your stuck in Australia..... you could try and convince your wife to cross the ditch to NZ and the promised land.

At least here in NZ the games are on at breakfast time not in the middle of the night.

Heya, another australian here. I download all the games and extras, i get them a day late but i get them. If i'm itching for it i'll stream live but i prefer the HD torrents i get. Not to mention i can save the games themselves for a 6pm start after uni or whenever i feel like it. Great for watching games this far away and having them forever as well. Hopefully we will be BCS or NC bound this year and the night games are broadcast around 10am, there is a great pub in Sydney Eastern suburbs that hosts all the major college and NFL games. The Light Brigade Hotel on oxford st. A lot more fans of college and NFL here than you think...

I myself was born in Lincoln, dad got a scholarship to NU moving from Sydney, met mom, i arrived, then we moved to Byron Bay where i grew up. Went back to Lincoln every year for some of our summer (your winter) until i started senior high school. Grandpa and Uncle got me hooked on the Huskers since i had a big N hanging on my crib. University of Sydney now and still a die hard Husker. End of life story.
