Best Place bar to pre party at

I live in Kansas City and have been going to NU games for year. I always just end up going to Woody's before the game. Is there a better place to have some beers before the game? Any help is greatly appreciated.

 
Been to Sandy's before, isn't that across the street from Woody's? Pretty cool place. Last time I was there everyone was drinking something out of a freaking pitcher..LOL

 
Yeah, caddie-corner from woody's. I'm guessing the drink from the pitcher (if it looked like orange juice) was their Elk Creek.

I would say go to Sidetracks for sure! Great time! They have a band that is funny as hell! Also Barrys on 9th St would be a good option also!
