Every year, year after year, I can not explain why the Big Ten doesn't add one more team to make 12, thus having a championship game. I mean the Big 12 was formed and the ACC just added enough to make a championship game. I think it is unfair for a conferance not to have a championship game. It seems the winner of the Big Ten (11) and the Pac-10 gets a automatic win atthe end of the season. Thoughts????

 
My thoughts as well...i dont understand it either

Big 11 cant be Big 12 so that might be why they havent changed.

Pac 10 um well who would want to join that?

 
They either need to add the appropiate number of teams to make the championship games even across every BCS conference or elimante all conference championship games to make it fair.

exactly and no one wants to see the sunbelt championship

 
I think that the Big "10" will add another team to their conference soon. It won't be Notre Dame, because of the tv contract, so I could see them invading the Big East, maybe to get Lousiville or West Virginia, or could get an upper-tier "Mid-Major" team from the MAC. It will happen sometime soon though, IMO.

Remember, the conference championship games are what those leagues want - it's not forced on them. They'll never give them up - too much of a money machine.
