I made these biscuits awhile back and they turned out fantastic. You will need just 3 ingredients to make these plus a muffin pan and non-stick cooking spray. They are so easy to make and they are moist and yummy. I will never use grocery store biscuits again! Perfect with jam/honey/butter or pour some sausage gravy over them:
Biscuits:
2 Sticks-(1 Cup)-Blue Bonnet Margarine, Softened
1 Cup Sour Cream
2 Cups Self-Rising Flour
Non-Stick Cooking Spray
Muffin Tin
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. This may sound too hot to bake them, but, it isn't!
Use an electric mixer.
In a big bowl, cream the margarine and sour cream.
Add the self-rising flour and mix well.
Spray a muffin pan with non-stick cooking spray or use muffin cups. I used non-stick cooking spray and the biscuits came out easy.
Drop large spoonfuls of the dough into a muffin pan. I used the 2 spoon method to drop them into the muffin pan.
Bake until the muffins are golden brown, 15-20 minutes.
***I baked them for 20 minutes, but, each person's stove is different.
Check them at 15 minutes to see if they are golden!
