BLACK OPS 2

Wife bought this for me yesterday. Early B-Day present. I know these game's are waste of money, but I still like 'em. :thumbs
$60 for a year's worth of an entertainment isn't a waste of money in my eyes lol. Besides, in a year, you could still get $40 out of the game if you sold it :)

Agreed MichiganMan, the patch, which there have been two in the last 4 days, has made the game much better. It seems more responsive, and not as glitchy. Not freezing near as much as it was before either. I play with a sensitivity of 10, and it doesn't seem fast enough for me lol, that is my only complaint as of right now. Some more fixing for them to do, but much better than it was before the patches.

For the life of me I don't know why you people buy the same game 5 times, especially if all you do is multiplayer.
I think there are two main reasons:

1) A lot of people put hundreds of hours into the COD games that by the time a whole year goes by, people are salivating to get a new addition. They have used the same weapons over and over on the same maps hundreds of times and by that time any change is a breath of fresh air.

2) You play Black Ops a lot. Then suddenly BO2 comes out. Now a couple of the guys you play online with have made the switch to BO2. Now you feel that to keep playing with them, you should get the new game too.

I play BO a decent amount. it's the only FPS multiplayer I played for more than a couple of hours. I don't buy the new one every year, but I did like the first BO a lot, so I would hope that the sequel is even better.
Your first point is what I'm talking about the games only change very, very minimally each time. Almost not even worth it. I bought the first two MW's but I loved the story lines in campaign more than multiplayer, and I will probably get MW3 when the price drops off, but mostly for the campaign. But multiplayer isn't worth it to me, it's just the same thing with a new face everytime. Takes no real skill, it's all about internet connections and run and gun tactics.

I started playing Counter Strike again and remember why I love it in the first place, there's strategy, talent, and actual skill involved. It maybe an old game, but it's solid and something that you actually have to work at.

My nephew just scratched my disc, I guess he thought it was a good idea to tip the xbox while the game was spinning in the console. Hopefully I will be able to get it exchanged for another copy.

Did you download the textures? BlackOpsII Main Screen -> Options -> Install

For me, I have not had a freeze since the last update. I was having them frequently before.

Running around with a combat knife and tomahawks is honestly the most fun I have had on Call Of Duty in a while. Love the resest state option as well.

I've had the chance to go online maybe twice. Everyone else is so damn good, it takes all the fun out of it.

Stu, play Zombies, get your technique up with a hand gun, it will get you ready for the online experience. I don't think online comes down to skill. It comes down to who can spray the most from their hip in a circular motion. I wish they would remove hip fire from the game and make it off pure talent.
