After last nights game I started to think if it was our fan base being biased about the bad calls and the conspiracy theories, so i wanted to see the breakdown of penalty's Nebraska has received this year.
Western Kentucky 7-51 Nebraska 6-75
Idaho 3-15 Nebraska 10-123
Washington 2-15 Nebraska 7-49
SDSU 7-73 Nebraska 6-47
Kansas State 4-30 Nebraska 6-48
Texas 4-53 Nebraska 10-94
Oklahoma State 8-84 Nebraska 7-55
Missouri 7-40 Nebraska 6-53
Iowa State 3-40 Nebraska 6-54
Kansas 1-9 Nebraska 6-54
Texas A&M 2-10 Nebraska 16-145
Totals:
Opponents: 48-420 Nebraska 86-797
Big 12 averages: 4.14-38 Nebraska 8.14-71.86 (averages penalty's per big 12 game)
Its hard to look over all of this without wanting to talk about Gabbert's forward progress call, Martins Suspension, or all the reviews that NU didn't get their way, but if Nebraska threw that first interception of the night in the same circumstance, i think we know which way the call would have ended up.
All stats were taken from ESPN(the worldwide leader in sports??), so if anyone has any changes in the stats, voice them.
