McGowens shortly after heard from Georgia, followed by Arizona, Nebraska, Virginia Tech, Nebraska, Iowa State, South Carolina, and Kentucky. He heard from all of these programs within a few hours of reopening his recruitment.

As we mentioned, Florida State will remain in the mix but this time will see themselves involved with a bunch of schools.
