carl pelini

I've just seen how false rumors can start and be perpetuated. And I have no evidence that it's true or not true. My main points are:

1) Nothing we've seen so far proves anything

2) Even if they did have a fling, it's unlikely Carl would get fired over it

4) I'm very bad at counting

I would not be surprised if there were teeth to this rumor. Even though I'm sure that Dr. Tom does not approve of this behavior, I would find it very hard to believe that Dr. Tom would have wanted Carl fired. Now, if a high-stakes donor is somehow involved and threatened to pull his donations, I could see that making waves, and I could see Dr. Tom relaying that message to Carl and Bo.

Yes Dr. Tom is a good, moral man. But lest we forget the actions of his predecessor, some of his assistant coaches, and some of his players. I don't think that Dr. Tom is the moral police and would butt into the personal lives of coaches or players, unless it effects the stability of the program.

Now correct me if im wrong- but the mistress in question is actually the (ex?) wife of the "booster's" son. The booster could obviously be upset, but hey, if your kid is too much of a doosh to hang on to a babe like that against Carl pelini, too fricken bad, maybe you need to talk to your kid instead of flailin your arms at the football program.

I believe the "booster" in question is actually on the Board of Directors for the Nebraska Foundation and a member of a couple of committees including Finance which manages something like $1.4 billion. Former CEO of United Nebraska Bank. He also sits on the board at a number of other organizations.

The person in question filed for divorce from her husband (the "booster's" son) recently, as it appeared in court records a couple of days agohere. Can you still keep the "Mrs." Nebraska designation when you're no longer a "Mrs."?
